With the current health crisis, AMW must be reactive and agile to effectively protect our teams in Thailand as well as our customers and partners. Thereby, in the year 2020, we have thus kept AMW’s member safe and kept production at its usual level.
Facial recognition, temperature and mask control : all in one
Safety is a standard of confidence for our teams and our customers.
In Thailand, each entrance to AMW site is equipped with a facial recognition gate. 50 face scans give individual access authorizations to our employees and visitors.
Our facescan only give access to people authorized to enter the factory
In order to protect each person entering the site, our systems have evolved to incorporate mask recognition as well as systematic temperature control.
The person is identified, her temperature is stable, the mask is detected: she can enter
The mask is not detected: the person does not have the authorization to enter
Live visits of our Bangkok factory
AMW now propose visits of these premises as if you were there, live and in HD video. The principle is simple, on appointment. The visit lasts about two hours, in the company of Emile Dumay, our manufacturing director and Thierry Basse, our sales director.
The visit is commented by going in detail of each production station that can be useful for the realization of your project. You can ask your questions in real time.
The inability to travel, the distance rules… We have found solutions so that physical distance is not an obstacle to the trust placed by our customers.

More than ever, AMW’s member are adapting to ensure everyone’s protection. In Thailand, AMW’s business was maintained and production of our electronic boards and magnetic components remained steady
It involves new habits! In particular, maintaining barrier gestures and constantly wearing mask near and inside the site. The workstations are regularly cleaned and disinfected. To encourage our teams, we make a point of communicating, reassuring and equipping: the objective is to keep our spirit of solidarity.
